Maître Roger Pichette, LL.B.

Roger Pichette, LL.B., D.E.S.S.

Me Pichette completed his Bachelor’s degree in law and biotechnology at Sherbrooke University before becoming a member of the Quebec Bar Association. Me Pichette was born in Quebec City and has always wanted to practice in this beautiful and historical city. Since he started his career at Bernier Beaudry Inc., he has worked in the fields of civil and commercial litigation as well as in general corporate and commercial transaction law.

Me Pichette’s current focus, along with his partner Me Freddy Bui-Khac, is in the development of the immigration law practice established in both Quebec City and Montreal. This new service offered through BB Immigration, combined with the expertise of the business lawyers of Bernier Beaudry inc., is not only aimed at enabling their clients to legally enter and work in Canada but also into making their settling projects successful.

Being a people oriented person, Me Pichette has developed acute listening skills to ascertain client needs and enable him to establish good client-lawyer relationships. Me Pichette’s philosophy is that every problem has a solution. The real value resides in finding the appropriate one.

Wishing to participate in the positive changes in his community and abroad, Me Pichette accepted and completed a mandate as National Vice-President of the JCI-Canada organisation in 2013. In 2014-2015, Me Pichette served as National President of JCI-Canada.

Genna Evelyn,

Genna Evelyn practices immigration law from our office in Saint-Georges de Beauce. Originally from Ontario, she has practiced in numerous areas of law in both Ontario and New Brunswick since 2007 before joining the BB Immigration team in 2017.

Ms. Evelyn has a Bachelor’s of Law from the University of New Brunswick and a Masters of Law from Université Laval with a research focus on immigration law. She offers services in both her English and French and is a member of both the Barreau du Québec and the Law Society of Ontario.

As an anglophone Ontarian living in the Beauce, Ms. Evelyn understands the personal challenges involved in migrating to a new region where one doesn’t speak the local language, doesn’t necessarily understand the local administrative procedures, and doesn’t immediately have the ability to practice one’s profession. Although she is proudly Canadian, she identifies with her clients as they go through the various procedures surrounding immigration to Canada.

In addition to practicing immigration law, Ms. Evelyn enjoys using her professional skills in her volunteer work for various community organizations in the Beauce, including L’A Droit de la Chaudière-Appalaches and the Legal Information Clinic.
